ındustry 4.0

• The first industrial revolution (1.0) emerged with mechanical production systems using water and steam power.

• With the second industrial revolution (2.0), mass production was achieved with the help of electric power.

• In the third industrial revolution (3.0), production was further automated by the use of digital revolution, the use of electronics and the development of IT (Information Technology).

• The fourth industrial revolution now brings together a whole of the concepts of objects and value-chain organizations, aiming to follow physical systems, create a virtual copy, and make decentralized decisions with Cyber-Physical systems.

Looking at the ISO series management systems updates, it seems that the revision of 2013 for information security is exactly the same as that of the 2015 revision for the quality of the selected language.

• That is, the latest revisions of both standards (ISO 9001: 2015 and ISO 27001: 2013) are expressed in the same items and are very suitable for integration.

• Looking at both quality and information security in this context, an analysis has been made in this article on new opportunities and threats posed by industry 4.0.
